The Label Format Built for Hands, Not Applicators
Sheet labels are pressure-sensitive labels supplied on flat sheets rather than wound onto a core — the format of choice when labels are applied by hand, printed in-house via a desktop laser printer, or needed in quantities too small for a roll-applicator workflow. Unlike templated A4 stock from office suppliers, custom-printed sheet labels from Onpack carry full-colour artwork, premium substrates and a finish range — gloss laminate, soft-touch, spot UV, hot foil and embossing — that positions even a hand-applied label at the same quality level as its roll-applied counterpart. The sheet format also makes it straightforward to pack multiple label variants per sheet for small-batch product ranges, gift sets or trial launches.
Where Sheet Labels Are the Right Choice
Sheet labels are widely used for small-batch and artisan food and beverage, cellar door and farmers' market retail, limited-edition and gift packaging, short-run cosmetic and personal care launches, laboratory and workshop sample labelling, and corporate gift or promotional pack production. Brands running laser-printable sheet labels use them for in-house variable data overprint — adding batch codes, expiry dates or personalised names to a pre-printed custom-designed sheet without needing a specialist printer or roll applicator. For any product where hand application is part of the workflow or the run size is too small to justify roll conversion, sheet format delivers the same print quality as roll-fed production in a format that works at bench-scale.
How Onpack prints sheet labels
Shorter runs and laser-printable sheet labels are produced on Onpack's HP Indigo and L350 digital presses across the full range of paper, BOPP, PET, tamper-evident and removable-adhesive substrates — then cut to A4, A3 or custom sheet sizes and packed to order.
Higher-volume sheet label orders run on our UV flexo press, which delivers sharp colour, in-line lamination and spot UV varnish before sheets are cut from the web. Hot foil stamping and embossing are applied on our digital ABG embellishment line on the web, with labels then cut to sheet — Onpack will advise during quoting if a finish combination is better suited to roll format.
Every sheet label job runs through Onpack's ISO9001 certified processes, with 100% vision camera quality control — so colour, adhesion and cut register stay consistent across every sheet in the run.
A press proof or physical sample is available before your full run, so you can confirm print quality, material feel and sheet layout in person before committing to volume.

A4 (210 × 297 mm) and A3 (297 × 420 mm) are standard. Custom sheet sizes are available on request. Multiple label sizes and variants can be laid out on the same sheet — specify your label dimensions and Onpack will produce an optimised multi-up layout.
Yes. Laser-printable sheet labels are available with heat-stable face stocks tested through standard A4 office laser printers — suited to in-house overprint of batch codes, expiry dates or personalised variable data on a pre-printed custom-designed sheet.

A high-resolution PDF laid out to your label dimensions — not pre-imposed to sheet. Onpack’s prepress team will impose labels to the correct sheet size, gap and bleed before production. If you have multiple label variants, supply each as a separate file.
